Is working with Paisley Solutions cost effective?

As with any product or service purchased for your business, you must weigh the value against the cost. You should consider every major purchase an investment in your success. When considering our services, we suggest you consider the options, list the pros and cons, and consider the expenses associated with each scenario. Be careful to include potential indirect expenses like the cost of recruiting, training and overseeing bookkeeping staff. Turnover is extremely expensive, not to mention frustrating. Weigh the intangibles based on their importance to you. Is reliability important or would you settle for excuses if it saves you money on the service? Having timely, accurate bookkeeping often saves you money in other areas, for instance, saving interest by effectively managing your credit lines, eliminating bank overdraft charges and tax penalties or reducing the chance of overpaying a vendor. Honestly, when working with a client who worked on commission, we found over $10,000 in commission checks, several years old, in a file folder. In another engagement, we discovered a bookkeeping error in the prior year, which led to an overstatement of revenue. The client paid tax on $65,000 in revenue it did not have.

Will Paisley Solutions do my taxes?

No, we do not prepare individual or business income tax returns. We will work closely with your CPA to develop accurate financial information helping you and your CPA minimize your taxes. If you need one, we will be happy to recommend a CPA in your area. Paisley Solutions is not a certified public accounting firm.

Should I be concerned about sharing my sensitive financial information?

Your financial and business information is kept strictly confidential. Our entire staff makes that promise and signs a confidentiality statement when hired.

We treat your sensitive information as securely as we do our own! We employ passwords, limit staff access, use a secure file transfer service for sending and receiving certain information, shred almost everything, and we are bonded!

How is Paisley Solutions different than other bookkeeping services?

Our top priorities are quality service and customer satisfaction. We encourage our clients to contact management with any questions or concerns. In addition, we will periodically contact you, to see that your needs and expectations are being met. We have built quality checks into all of our systems.

We are a professional bookkeeping practice with a larger staff than most of our competitors. Services are performed in our business office, not in someone’s home. We use technology in many ways to make it easy on our clients and our staff. Electronic information is stored on a server and protected with several layers of security.

Can you help me find other services to assist my business?

We have strategic partners that can assist you with almost any business or personal business need. We will introduce you to their services in a variety of ways as our business relationship grows. Often they provide discounts or special incentives exclusively for our clients. But please, contact us anytime if you have a specific need.

What about scheduling?

Our system is built on schedules and deadlines so that we can get your financial information to you as quickly as possible. However, we understand that everyone’s environment changes by the minute. We can be flexible but we ask that schedule changes be made at the earliest opportunity so we may work you in as quickly as possible. In turn we appreciate your understanding if we must reschedule due to an emergency.

Will it be easy to reach someone?

Are you licensed & insured?

Paisley Solutions carries both general liability and worker’s compensation insurance, and maintains a current business license in Delaware. (No license is required in PA.) Paisley Solutions IS NOT a Certified Public Accounting firm.

Will I have a designated representative?

Yes, you will have one person who is responsible for your service but you will be provided with two additional contacts so that we may assist you promptly.
